Whilst was scrolling through Paule Ka's A/W 2012 collection, his jewel embellished beanie's caught my eye. As a fan of the beanie, this was totally unexpected and I like the idea of a typically street item of clothing being prettified with jewels.
I've been bitten by the DIY bug again and I've now really got the urge to turn my regular beanie's into frou frou ones.
I've been meaning to post this editorial up for a few weeks now, but I just never got round to it. I love the juxtaposition of the retro feel of the photography against the modern styling and modern take on the retro hair and make up.
I'm really enjoying seeing how stylists and photographers are interpreting the sports/Olympics concept using collections that aren't remotely sportswear inspired. And I need one of those Prada jackets in my life.
